This update delivers some long-requested features, squashes a pile of bugs, and lays down the groundwork for much faster releases going forward. Just like last year's update, a big chunk of the work here is invisible foundation work, but we have a few bells and whistles to show off. Let's dig in.
AI Bingo Generator 🎱
Trivia games have had their own AI generator in Crowdpurr for a while now. As of this release, bingo games can be generated with AI too. Give it a topic, and Crowdpurr builds out a complete bingo game in seconds, perfect for icebreakers, conference bingo, holiday parties, or anything else you can dream up.
- Generate a whole game: Create a brand-new AI bingo game from scratch, just like the AI Trivia Generator.
- Generate squares on the fly: Already have a bingo game? Head to the Experience Dashboard and have AI generate additional bingo squares for it.
- Smarter, faster AI: We've upgraded Crowdpurr's AI integration to the current OpenAI frontier models, so both trivia and bingo generation are better and faster than before.
Free Basic Plan users can generate up to three AI bingo games. All upgraded plans get unlimited AI bingo games.
Experience List Folders 📁
Finally! This has been one of our most requested features from power users, and it's here. You can now organize your experiences into folders on the Experience List.
- Folders within folders: Nest folders as deep as you need to keep clients, events, or seasons organized.
- Drag and rearrange: Move folders and experiences around freely to build the structure that works for you.
- Bulk actions: Select multiple experiences at once to move or remove them in one go.
- Pagination: The Experiences List is now paginated which helps users with a significant amount of experiences.
If you've been running dozens of experiences and scrolling through one giant list, this is going to make your day.
Extended AI Writing Tools ✨
We've sprinkled on new AI writing tools throughout the Experience Dashboard to take the grind out of writing trivia games. Wherever you're writing, there's now an AI assist right next to it. Our personal favorite is the answer option's Generate Incorrect Answers tool. You just write the trivia question and it's correct answer and Crowdpurr automatically writes the remaining believable but incorrect answer options! The new AI tools include:
- Question: Improve Quality, Make Shorter, Make Longer
- Answer Options: Generate Answers, Generate Incorrect Answers
- Text Answer Options: Generate Misspellings
- Question Note: Generate, Improve Writing, Make Shorter, Make Longer
Don't fee like adding answers to a trivia question you just wrote? Need to accept common misspellings on a text-answer question without typing them all out? Want a quick fun fact in the question note? One click and you're done. All newly added AI writing tools are available on any upgraded plan.
Update Account Email 📧
A small but welcome improvement. You can now update your account's email address yourself directly from the My Account page, no need to contact Crowdpurr support. Change jobs, switch domains, or clean up an old address whenever you like.
New Stadium Plan 🏟️
For our largest events, we've added a new premium Stadium Plan supporting up to 15,000 simultaneous participants. If you're running arena-scale trivia, stadium-wide trivia games, or massive corporate all-hands, this plan was built for you. Check out the Pricing page for details.
Minor Updates & Polish 🎨
A handful of smaller improvements also made it into this release:
- Bingo square sizing: The font-sizing algorithm for bingo squares was updated app-wide, so square text resizes more legibly across the app.
- Security improvements: Account verification tokens now expire after twenty-four hours, and we closed a few edge-case bugs around locked and published library experiences.
Under-the-Hood Overhaul 🔧
As with last summer, a huge amount of this release lives below the surface including an overhaul of the Participant View which will help unlock new experience types (ahem, Scavenger Hunts, ahem), how the various Crowdpurr micro-services communicate with one another, and major package and framework updates to our open-source software base.
Lastly, the largest effort of the entire release was a comprehensive test suite. Every Crowdpurr service now has unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests. There's over 1200 tests across the app that programatically test every surface and button of the app to ensure all functionality is passing before updates. Translation: fewer surprises for you, and much faster and safer releases for us.
Bug Fixes 🐞
This update includes a long list of bug fixes across billing, the Experience Dashboard, the Presentation View, the Participant View, and live streaming. A few worth calling out:
- Yearly plan users now correctly get their monthly email and SMS notification counts reset (and all counts have been reset immediately with this update).
- The Rankings Leaderboard no longer freezes when processing a high volume of participants.
- YouTube videos no longer fail to load on the Presentation and Participant Views.
- A range of billing issues involving promo codes, duplicate customer accounts, and incorrect upgrade pricing have been resolved.

Looking Ahead 🚀
This release was a big one, but the most exciting part is what it enables. With a modernized Participant View, more reliable services, and a full test suite behind every release, we can now ship new features faster and with far more confidence than ever before. That means many of the long-standing requests from our user base are next in line, and you'll be seeing them sooner than you might expect.
